Product description

This large-format rocker switch is suitable for applications requiring safe, clearly visible switching. The red actuator cap immediately indicates that it is an important switch, typically used for power supply or emergency shutdown.

The switch operates without latching, returning to its initial position when released. The double-pole switching mechanism interrupts both lines, enabling safe shutdowns. The contacts can handle up to 16 A at 250 V per pole, allowing use in industrial control systems as well as more compact devices.

Applications range from emergency switches on machines and main on/off switches for laboratory equipment to highly visible control panels in publicly accessible areas. The wide switching action ensures reliable operation even under unfavorable conditions. Installation only requires a rectangular opening in the enclosure or control panel.

The switch is secured from below with a nut. Wires are connected to the screw-on plug terminals; conductors from 0.5 to 2.5 mm² fit these terminals. For safe operation, the current rating must not be exceeded; if you are unsure about the operating conditions, consult a qualified electrician.
