Product Description
The pin header set contains 30 individual pin headers for flexible wiring of prototypes on perforated circuit boards and breadboards. Each strip has 40 pins in a 1*40 configuration and can be easily broken apart at the 54 mm markings.
The six colors enable organized wiring according to functional relationships, such as using separate colors for power supply, ground, and signal lines. This reduces the error rate during assembly and makes later modifications easier to trace.
In circuit prototypes with analog or digital controllers, the headers are used for power supply and for connecting sensor, motor, and display ports. They can also be used to make adapter cables between different connector pin assignments. The color coding is a convention, not a standard, and must be defined for each project.
The headers are designed for standard perforated circuit boards with a 2.54 mm pitch. No additional accessories are required for operation; however, the inserted pins themselves require a compatible counterpart, such as female headers or flat receptacles, for electrical connection to wires or other components.

The rough edges of broken headers may be sharp and cause skin injuries. Deburr broken edges with sandpaper if necessary. The set is intended exclusively for prototypes and testing and development purposes and is not intended for installation in household electrical circuits.
