Product Description

This HMI display (Human Machine Interface) combines a touchscreen with a user interface on a single circuit board. The 4.3-inch monitor displays content at 480*272 pixels and responds to up to 10 simultaneous touches. The interface is controlled via UART and runs on standalone firmware. A microcontroller can send commands and receive display outputs, but does not have to generate every graphic itself.

The display operates with a 5-volt supply voltage and draws a maximum of 350 mA during operation. The connection is made serially via UART, with data rates from 9600 to 115200 baud available. Higher rates enable smoother screen updates. Graphics data and control elements are stored on the display and do not need to be reloaded continuously.

Applications range from industrial control modules and laboratory equipment to home automation hubs. For example, in a temperature control system, sensors can transmit data wirelessly to a microcontroller, which exchanges measured values and commands with the display serially while the user sets target values via the touchscreen. Dashboard applications and data-collection devices also benefit from this setup.

Operation requires a 5-volt power supply with at least 350 mA. A microcontroller with a serial port (or a level shifter for 3.3 V logic) is required to send control commands or read inputs. The graphical programming interface is provided separately.
