Product description
This HMI touch display serves as a user interface for microcontroller projects and small industrial control systems. The resistive touch panel responds to finger touches and a stylus, while the serial UART connection enables multiple displays to be operated in parallel with one control unit.
The display is programmed using its configuration software, so the associated controllers do not need to contain code for the user interface. Graphics, text, sliders, buttons, and display elements are created in the editor, and the data is transferred to the integrated flash memory module. The microcontroller then only sends numerical values for display and reads user inputs.
Typical applications include control panels for laboratory equipment, status displays for machine control systems, and operating elements for sensor networks in the development stage. This separation of control logic and display interface is also useful for creating demonstrators for process automation.
