Product Description
These brushless miniature motors drive propellers at voltages from 3 to 6 V and require up to 1.0 A per unit. This allows them to be used with commercially available development boards and battery packs without requiring separate power amplifiers; a single power supply powers both motors.
The motors come factory-fitted with propellers and are ready for use. Their slim design fits into tight enclosures or constructions where space is limited. The speed varies with the applied voltage, allowing thrust and movement speed to be adjusted.
Typical applications include lightweight aircraft such as quadcopter prototypes or small drones, fan projects for cooling or air circulation, and propulsion for mobile robotic platforms with low payload requirements. The motors also provide a reliable test subject in educational setups for motor control using PWM signals. The mounted propeller combination significantly reduces setup time in everyday projects.
Digital outputs or PWM signals from a microcontroller board are required for control; a motor driver IC is necessary for full speed control. The motors can briefly tolerate higher voltages of up to approximately 7 V, but should not be operated at these voltages continuously.
