Product Description
This timer relay is a control module for time-controlled switching tasks in 5 V systems. It combines the functions of a conventional delay relay with programmable logic and is suitable for automation projects in which actuators need to be controlled at timed intervals or according to repeating patterns.
The relay offers up to eight different switching programs, ranging from simple delays and pulse generation to counter functions. The delay times can be set precisely from one second to 99 hours. Two separate relay outputs enable the simultaneous control of multiple loads. Programming is performed directly using the buttons on the device or, alternatively, via digital input signals, without requiring a computer.
The switching capacity of up to 10 A at 250 V AC is sufficient for smaller loads such as lamps, small motors, or solenoid valves. The timer relay is not designed for higher-power loads. The 5 V operating voltage requires a separately provided power supply with sufficient current capacity.
Typical applications include time-controlled lighting scenarios in model-building projects, sequential control of irrigation pumps in garden applications, and test automation in experimental setups. The relay can also be used as a test module for verifying time-critical switching logic.
Safety Information
The timer relay is intended exclusively for building prototypes and for testing and development purposes; it is not suitable for installation in household electrical circuits. Work on or near electrical installations must be carried out by qualified electricians. Consult a qualified electrician before commissioning the device with high-pole-count or inductive loads.
