Product description
The programmable time relay is used for automated or delayed switching of circuits up to 16 A at 12 V DC. With eight different operating modes, it can be flexibly configured for various timing functions without requiring additional wiring or external components. Changeover contacts enable switching of connected or disconnected loads.
The function is set directly on the device using the integrated button controls; an LED indicates the current operating status. Depending on the selected mode, delays ranging from less than one second to several hours can be set, eliminating the need for repeated reprogramming for different requirements. The switching capacity of up to 16 A enables the direct connection of solenoids, valves, lamps, or small motors.
Typical applications include controlling lighting with a switch-on or switch-off delay, pulse-controlled operation of electropneumatic valves in automation tasks, or cyclical control of signaling devices. The relay can also be used to generate patterns for test and measurement projects, for example to synchronize measurement data streams over time.
The relay requires a separate 12 V DC power source; batteries or a suitable switching power supply must be provided separately. The maximum switching capacity limits direct operation to low-power and signal-technology loads. When designing control systems for higher loads, contactors or additional power switches must be provided.
Safety information
This relay is not intended for installation in household mains circuits. It is intended exclusively for building prototypes and for testing and development purposes; work on or near electrical installations must be carried out by qualified electricians. For circuits with higher current loads or in case of doubt, consult a qualified electrician before commissioning.
