- Enclosed plastic housing
- Suitable for prototypes and development projects
Product description
This miniature speaker outputs audio with up to 3 watts of power and can be connected directly to common development boards thanks to its JST connector. The enclosed housing reduces feedback effects and enhances the sound.
The speaker requires an audio source with sufficient drive capability or an additional amplifier for operation. The 4-ohm impedance determines the required current flow. The JST connector system enables quick connection without soldering.
It can be used for acoustic signals in automation projects, as an alarm output in sensor applications, or for voice output in robotics prototypes. Its compact size makes it suitable for space-saving setups.
Operating voltage and power supply depend on the audio driver used. When connected to a standard microcontroller, an external amplifier is often necessary to achieve full power.
Safety information
The speaker is intended exclusively for building prototypes and for testing and development purposes. The duration and volume of audio transmission can cause fatigue or hearing damage; when used in permanent test systems, ensure sufficient breaks. When operating with an external power supply or if there is any uncertainty about the current load, consult a qualified electrician before commissioning.
