Product Description
Linear guide rails with bearing blocks enable precise linear movements in machines and systems. The set contains two SBR12 series rails, each 600 mm long, and four bearing blocks that roll along the rails. Each block is equipped with ball bearings and runs positively engaged in the groove of the rail.
The four bearing blocks are distributed across both rails, providing sufficient guidance quality for medium loads. The ball cage system reduces friction and enables smooth, quiet movements. Wear on the raceways remains minimal as long as the rails are kept free of contamination.
Applications range from CNC milling machines and 3D printers to positioning devices in laboratory setups or workshops. In robotics projects, such rail systems also serve as linear axes for precisely aligning moving components such as grippers or camera heads. The 600 mm length is suitable for travel ranges of up to half the rail length, depending on the mounting arrangement.
