Product description
GX16-series circular connectors reliably connect power supplies and signal lines in damp or wet environments. The molded plastic housing with metal body protects the contacts from water and contamination according to IP67 protection standards, making them suitable for outdoor use, systems exposed to splashing water, or damp rooms.
The series is available in several sizes, with each version comprising a plug and socket. The solder connections enable secure, gas-tight connections directly to circuit boards. The housing already provides additional insulation, so no further measures are required.
Typical applications include powering LED lights outdoors, sensor networks in horticulture or aquaculture, connections in weather stations, and field cables in building automation. The waterproof design also provides reliability for mobile or portable devices.
