Product Description

This micro servo precisely drives small mechanisms and is used in RC models, robotics projects, and automation systems. The servo receives control signals via a signal wire and converts them into continuous positioning movements. With metal gears, it operates more durably and withstands higher loads than plastic versions without adding significant weight.

The servo requires a supply voltage between 4.8 and 6 V; both values are common, so it can be operated with 5 V logic boards as well as 6 V power supplies. The response time of approximately 0.1 seconds is sufficient for smooth movement sequences. The 60° control range covers steering mechanisms as well as lever or slider functions.

Typical applications include rudder controls in aircraft models, camera alignment in drone frames, grippers or clamps in small robot arms, and moving components in prototypes. In a four-channel RC model, this servo could control wing elevons or rudders, while a central receiver controls all four servos via separate signal wires.

The servo connects to the controlling microcontroller or receiver via a single signal wire; accordingly, more outputs on the controller are sufficient for multiple servos. An external power supply should have sufficient capacity, as all controlled servos may demand their peak current simultaneously. Mechanical overloading caused by excessive torque requirements can lead to gear failure or blockage.
