Product description

This charge controller manages the charging of lithium cells with a controlled current of up to 1 A. To charge 4 V or 8 V batteries, select the output voltage using the switch and supply power via Mini-USB. The input voltage can also be selected: 5 V standard USB or 8 V for higher charging power with compatible power supplies.

The module automatically regulates the charging current and stops when the cell is fully charged. The integrated diode protects the battery from damage caused by reverse polarity. Ready to use without calibration.

Typical applications include powering projects with portable energy storage, such as LED modules with individual lithium cells, sensor networks with their own power supply, or portable IoT devices. It can also be used as a charging station in development projects when repeatedly charging the same battery type.

Operation requires a USB power source with the appropriate voltage. Which specific battery types are compatible for charging depends on their nominal voltage and capacity and should be checked against the battery data sheet to avoid exceeding the 1 A limit.
