Product description

The patch cable connects network devices such as computers, routers, or switches directly to one another or to the wall outlet. The Cat 5e specification supports Gigabit Ethernet over cable lengths of up to 100 meters; beyond this distance, signal quality decreases. At 150 centimeters, the cable is suitable for workstation connections, server cabinets, or shorter device connections.

The unshielded design (UTP) is cost-effective and sufficient for standard desk and cabinet installations, provided the cable is not routed directly next to high-voltage cables or magnetic fields. The pre-assembled RJ45 connectors on both ends eliminate the need for manual work; no calibration is required.

It can be used for everything from a home network to building cabling in an office, provided that individual cable sections do not exceed 100 meters. For longer distances or to bridge areas with electric motor interference, shielded versions (SFTP) should be used.

The cable requires neither a power connection nor driver installation. A functioning network and compatible devices with an RJ45 socket are required for operation.

Safety information

The cable is not a power cable and must not be connected to power rails or household electrical circuits. It contains no hazardous substances and requires no special storage conditions. Route the cable so that it does not create a tripping hazard or become a pinch point.
