Product Description

This dosing pump operates according to the peristaltic principle and dispenses liquids and low-viscosity substances in precisely controllable quantities. It is suitable for repeatable dosing tasks where consistent flow rates are essential. The pump is controlled via digital signals and requires only the inputs and outputs of a microcontroller board.

The operating principle uses rotating rollers that roll along a tube, thereby conveying the liquid inside it. Since this process does not involve direct contact between the pump mechanism and the fluid being conveyed, laborious cleaning is eliminated when working with substances that leave residues. Thanks to its 12 V power supply, the pump can be powered by standard power supplies or battery packs, making it particularly suitable for mobile or autonomous systems.

Applications range from dosing fertilizers in irrigation systems and dispensing cleaning agents in automated processes to humidification tasks in laboratory setups. In smart irrigation systems, for example, the pump is controlled based on soil moisture sensors and distributes water and nutrients in precise portions. The maximum flow rate of 100 ml per minute limits its use for high-volume applications.

Operation requires a 12 V DC power supply and a suitable hose with a 6 mm inner diameter for the inlet and outlet. The pump is supplied without a power adapter. For PWM control to regulate the speed, the controller requires suitable outputs; for basic on/off operation, simple digital signals are sufficient.
