Grove IR receiver TSOP382 - infrared 38 kHz, up to 10 m
Description
Grove - IR Receiver (Infrared)
The infrared receiver is based on the TSOP382 and is used to receive infrared signals and detect remote controls.
The infrared receiver features an IR detector that captures the infrared light emitted by the infrared transmitter. The IR detector has a demodulator that searches for modulated infrared light at 38 kHz. The infrared receiver can receive signals from a distance of up to 10 meters, depending on the power of the IR transmitter. Beyond 10 meters, the receiver may not receive the signals. In this case, we recommend using the Grove infrared receiver and the Grove infrared transmitter together.
Features
- Excellent immunity to ambient light: The devices in the TSOP384 series are optimized to suppress nearly all interference pulses from sources such as energy-saving lamps or compact fluorescent lamps.
