Product description
The FS2 A is a radio receiver for 2.4 GHz remote controls that converts radio signals from a compatible remote control into four PWM control signals. Each channel is available via a pin header with four connections, to which servo motors or motor controllers can be connected. The module requires an operating voltage between 5 and 6 volts, typically supplied by a 3S LiPo battery or a suitable power supply module.
The receiver is frequently used in remote-controlled model vehicles, where four functions (driving direction, speed, steering, and an additional channel) are controlled independently of one another. The 2.4 GHz communication is also used in drone projects and radio-controlled boats. In prototyping environments, the FS2 A is used to build custom control branches without fixing the frequency, as the standard is used by many available remote controls.
The wireless range is up to approximately 300 meters in open terrain. This distance is significantly reduced indoors or in metallic environments. The PWM outputs provide control signals with a standardized pulse width that can be connected directly to motor drivers, servo controllers, or relay modules. Pairing with the remote control is performed via the module itself.
The FS2 A requires a stable 5-to-6-volt power supply, which must be provided separately. An antenna is included in the scope of delivery. Additional microcontrollers or logic modules are required to build more complex control logic; the receiver module itself contains no programmable components.
Safety information
The 2.4 GHz radio connection is subject to regional frequency regulations and must comply with the regulations of the respective country. This module is intended exclusively for building prototypes and for testing and development purposes, and is not intended for permanent installation in commercial devices. If you have questions about the operating voltage or interference with other 2.4 GHz systems in the immediate vicinity, consult a qualified electrician.
Scope of delivery
. Additional microcontrollers or logic modules are required to build more complex control logic; the receiver module itself contains no programmable components.
