Product Description
A brushless motor with 2300 KV powers small multicopters. The rotational speed increases at higher voltage: a single 2S battery (7.4 V) spins the rotor more slowly than a 3S battery (11.1 V), which directly determines thrust and current draw. The motor is configured for clockwise rotation (CW) at the factory and fits standard rotor blades up to 6 inches in diameter on the motor shaft.
As an actuator, this motor requires an ESC (Electronic Speed Controller) that converts the control signal from the flight controller into rotational speed. The maximum thrust of approximately 280 g is achieved with optimal batteries and propellers, but is only sufficient as a single motor for quadcopters. A 250-size frame with four of these motors produces a total thrust of around 1.1 kg and lifts a total weight of approximately 500 to 700 g.
Applications include FPV racing with lightweight 250-size drones, aerial photography with stable copters in the 500 g range, and propulsion for self-built experimental aircraft models. The 2300 KV rating is suitable for hobby multicopters with standard batteries and propeller diameters between 5 and 6 inches.
A suitable ESC rated for 2S to 3S and a flight controller with PWM or digital servo signals are required. The exact performance depends on the type of battery used, propeller geometry, and air resistance. Operation requires a multicopter frame with mechanical mounting points.
Safety Notice
Never touch a rotating propeller without protection. This motor is intended exclusively for the construction and development of multicopter prototypes, not as a component of a type-approved aircraft. Check the direction of rotation before initial operation and ensure that all fasteners are firmly seated.
