Product description
This electromagnet switches between opening, closing, and pulling and requires 12 V DC voltage. The bistable switching principle stores its state without continuous current after the coil has been energized briefly. This eliminates heat generation at rest and significantly reduces power consumption compared with simple on-off magnets.
The magnet can be used wherever locks and barriers need to be automated. Examples include automatic door closing mechanisms for display cabinets or cupboards, electromechanical locking systems for access control, and roller shutter controls. The switching frequency of up to 5 Hz allows repeated switching without overloading.
Operation requires a 12 V power source. The terminal screws accept flexible copper wires with a cross-sectional area within the standard range. The magnet's force depends on the respective model and must be planned according to the application's requirements.
