Product Description
This DC motor is a lightweight, compact drive for operation with batteries or low-voltage power sources between 3 and 6 volts. Operating directly within this voltage range enables simple wiring in prototypes and experimental projects without the need for additional voltage converters.
The motor operates according to the principle of electromagnetic force acting on current-carrying conductors in a magnetic field. An external power source with sufficient capacity must be provided; power consumption depends on the mechanical resistance during operation. The rotational speed can be controlled by changing the operating voltage or using pulse-width modulation.
This motor can be used in small robotic vehicles, model-making projects, and automated experimental setups. In a simple mobile robot, for example, it drives the wheels while control electronics determine the direction and speed of travel. The motor is also suitable for rotary or linear movements in test setups.
A battery or power supply with regulated DC voltage is required for the power supply. Power electronics for speed control are not included and must be purchased separately if required. The motor itself has no internal overcurrent protection.
Safety Notice
The motor must not be connected to the mains power supply. It is intended exclusively for building prototypes and for testing and development purposes. Work on or near electrical installations is reserved for qualified electricians; if you are unsure about the power supply, consult a qualified electrician before commissioning.
