DOBOT Magician - Education Package Automation 1

In this education package, each Dobot Magician robot arm can be controlled using a sensor.

The robots respond to the external "Trigger" from a photoelectric sensor and execute the previously programmed movement sequence. Programming can be carried out using the usual methods, such as Teach&Playback, Blockly, or Python

It is also possible to save the programs on the robots. This means that this production line can be programmed using just one computer or laptop. 

Planned automation process:

• Robot1 picks up a blank business card from the designated fixture and places it in the fixture on the conveyor belt. 
• Conveyor belt: The conveyor belt starts as soon as the business card is placed on it and stops when the business card reaches the stamping position.
• Robot2 starts the stamping process when the sensor on Robot2 detects the arrival of the blank business card.
• The conveyor belt moves the fixture with the stamped business card to the third robot.
• Robot3 takes the business card from the fixture and places it in the designated fixture, which is also equipped with a photoelectric sensor. 
• The conveyor belt moves the holder for the business card back to the starting position.
• As soon as the stamped business card is removed from the holder, the third photoelectric sensor detects this and the associated Robot1 restarts the production process.

The DOBOT Magician is a multifunctional desktop robot arm specially developed for the education sector.
The clever part: The robot arm's tools can be changed with just a few simple steps. This provides a wide range of possible applications.

The purpose of the DOBOT conveyor belt is quickly apparent: it offers the ability to transport materials.
The conveyor belt is probably the most important component in the context of Industry 4.0 for simulating a production line.

The Workspace (2x included)

• Completes the educational approach to robotics instruction

The frame (3x included)

• Serves to secure the DOBOT Magician on the Workspace
• Has a practical coordinate system

 The Stamp Module (1x included)

• Enables printing on objects such as business cards
• A standardized Trodat stamp "Printy 4912" is installed in the robot tool. On request, it can be supplied with an individual logo, such as that of the school or company. The stamp is inserted and can therefore be replaced.

 Accessories (1x included)

• Storage area for blank business cards
• Slider hole plate - perforated plate with anti-slip locking on the conveyor belt
• Holder for blank business cards on the conveyor belt
• Storage area for finished business cards, including aluminum profile frame and photoelectric sensor
• Photoelectric sensor for detecting the stamping position on the conveyor belt
• Photoelectric sensor for detecting the end position on the conveyor belt (one photoelectric sensor is part of the included conveyor belt)
