Product description
This 24 GHz radar module detects motion using the frequency-shift method and provides two separate digital signals. The safe zone operates up to approximately 7 m, while the unsafe zone extends up to approximately 5 m. This makes the module suitable for room monitoring, energy-saving applications, and reliability triggers in automation systems where it must perform reliably in time-critical reactions. Throughput and interference immunity are already optimized at the factory, making the module suitable for developers who do not want to perform recalibration.
The 4.5 to 5.5 V DC power supply allows direct connection to five-volt-capable microcontroller boards and development systems; a voltage regulator is only required for lower operating voltages. Both outputs switch to TTL/CMOS levels and can be connected via standard digital inputs without additional circuitry. Automatic sensitivity adjustment eliminates the need for manual configuration.
The module forms the core of motion detectors in buildings, automated access control with delay, and alarm systems with graduated responses to different detection zones. The separate two-zone output is also quickly useful in robotics projects, for example to wake a mobile robot from a greater distance and then respond to activity in the near zone.
The module is intended exclusively for prototypes, testing, and development purposes; operation in household mains circuits or safety-critical applications is not permitted. Adapting the module to other voltage levels or using it in environments sensitive to high frequencies requires prior consultation with a qualified electrician.

The module emits electromagnetic waves in the 24 GHz range and must not be operated near critical sensors without sufficient spacing. The device is not intended for installation in household mains circuits and is suitable exclusively for prototypes, testing, and development purposes.
