Product description

This aluminum case with an integrated fan provides protection and thermal management for older single-board computers. The fan connects directly to the board’s 5 V power supply and runs continuously as soon as the system starts. Heat conduction through the metal case and air circulation prevent reduced computing performance due to thermal overload.

The case precisely follows the port layout of these generations, keeping the most important connections accessible. Some inputs and outputs are routed through the case walls, while others remain freely accessible from the top. Assembly takes just a few minutes without special tools.

The system is suitable for continuous operation as a network server in the living room, as a control computer for home automation, or as a basis for measurement data acquisition when the processor needs to run under load for extended periods. Passive heat conduction alone is not sufficient under higher loads; the fan ensures consistent operating conditions.

Operation requires an air humidity level below 85 percent. Specialized network accessories or additional heat sinks are not required. Fan noise remains in the background during normal operation; modifications to the system require opening the case afterward.
