Product description

This battery charging module combines charging and discharging functions with an integrated voltage monitoring system in one device. It is suitable for testing and conditioning lithium and lead-acid batteries with various capacities and nominal voltages.

The voltage monitor automatically sets limits. During charging, the upper voltage limit is not exceeded; during discharging, the process stops before critical deep discharge occurs. This significantly extends battery life. The separately adjustable charging and discharging currents enable testing under various load conditions.

Applications include cyclical battery capacity testing, simulating aging through repeated charging and discharging, and preconditioning new batteries before using them in a project. In the laboratory, multiple batteries can be tested in parallel with different parameters.

Safety information

Lithium batteries must not be deeply discharged; the module protects against this, but regular monitoring is still required. This device is intended exclusively for building prototypes and for testing and development purposes. Work on or near power lines is reserved for qualified electricians; consult a qualified electrician if you have questions about commissioning.
