Product description
This programmer is used to upload firmware to AVR microcontrollers from the popular ATmega and ATtiny families. It emulates the proven STK500 V2 protocol and works with established development environments as well as standard flash tools. The USB interface simplifies connection to the computer without requiring an additional power supply.
The programmer uses the ISP method (in-system programming), in which the chip remains on the circuit board. The integrated safety functions automatically detect the target voltage and prevent damage caused by a voltage mismatch. This allows both development boards and controllers already soldered into circuits to be programmed without removing them.
Typical applications include firmware development for sensor and control applications, flashing bootloaders, and programming microcontrollers in automated manufacturing processes. The device is equally suitable for individual projects and repeated programming cycles.
A computer with a USB port and compatible programming software (AVR Studio, WinAVR, or similar tools) are required. The ISP connection is made via a standard 6-pin or 10-pin connector to the target device. A level shifter is required for microcontrollers with different voltage levels.
Safety information
This programmer is not intended for installation in the household power circuit. It is intended exclusively for prototyping, testing, and development purposes. Work on or near electrical installations must be carried out by qualified electricians. If you are unsure, consult a qualified electrician before commissioning.
