Product description
This chassis provides the mechanical foundation for small mobile robots and vehicle projects with Arduino control boards. The two independently driven wheels enable changes in direction through differential motor control, while the suspension on both axles absorbs unevenness in the ground and improves stability.
To operate the chassis, two geared motors are required, with axles that fit into the designated mounts. These are connected to the Arduino via a motor controller, enabling speed and direction control. The spring suspension ensures consistent ground contact even on uneven surfaces, which is particularly advantageous for sensor applications such as ultrasonic distance measurement.
Applications range from line-following and obstacle-avoiding robots to custom vehicle projects for schools and hobbyists. A typical project would be an autonomous robot that uses infrared sensors to navigate along a black line on a white surface.
Two geared motors, a motor controller module, a battery holder, cables and the Arduino board must be purchased separately. The chassis itself is supplied without drive electronics.
Safety information
This product is intended exclusively for building prototypes and for testing and development purposes. Qualified electricians are required when integrating high-voltage components or working on electrical installations. Before commissioning, all mechanical connections should be checked, and a qualified electrician should be consulted if there is any uncertainty regarding the electrical connections.
