Product Description
A Hall sensor module detects magnetic fields and outputs a digital switching signal as soon as the field strength exceeds a threshold. The output signal can be connected directly to microcontroller boards that support both 3.3 V and 5 V logic.
The module operates with two thresholds: a magnetic field switches the output, and moving away from the field resets the switching state. This type of hysteresis prevents chatter at weak field boundaries. The JST-XH connector enables secure plug-in connections without soldering directly to the sensor.
These Hall sensors are suitable for contactless proximity switches, for example to detect magnetic poles on moving parts such as doors, sliders, or rotating shafts. They can also be used to build tachometers for motor-driven systems when a magnet marks the shaft.
Matching connectors may be required for plug-in connections if they are not already available. Operation requires a power supply in the range of 3.3 V to 5 V, which must be provided separately.
Safety Notice
This module is not intended for installation in household electrical circuits and is intended exclusively for prototyping, testing, and development purposes. For applications near household electrical installations, consult a qualified electrician before commissioning.
