Product description

This 6 V geared motor combines a DC motor with metal gears. The 1:90 gear ratio significantly reduces the motor speed and correspondingly increases the available torque without requiring additional components.

The TT motor type is widely used in robotic vehicles and model vehicles. The metal gears transmit power more reliably than plastic gears and withstand higher loads. The 3 mm shaft fits standard wheels and pulleys for this design.

Applications include powered model vehicles with low to moderate speed requirements, robotics prototypes with wheel drive, and machines that require constant force at low speeds. A vehicle test setup with two of these motors provides sufficient traction for loads of up to approximately 1 kg on a level surface.

Operation requires only a 6 V DC power source (batteries or a regulated power supply). Speed control requires an additional motor controller with a PWM output. The maximum current draw when stalled must be taken into account to ensure the power source is properly sized.
