Product description

A geared motor with an all-metal design withstands reverse polarity and impacts during operation significantly better than plastic gearboxes. This motor operates on 6 V DC and has a 1:90 reduction ratio, making it suitable for applications requiring high torque at a low rotational speed.

The motor's 3 mm shaft fits common model wheel hubs or can be connected using small couplings. To control the motor directly, you need no more than two wires and a suitable power source, as no switching regulator is required. To change the direction of rotation, reverse the connections.

The motor is suitable for autonomous mobile robots where the reduction ratio limits the travel speed to approximately 1 to 2 meters per minute while providing high traction. The gearbox also delivers stable propulsion in manually controlled model vehicles powered by a rechargeable battery or battery. Window-cleaning or painting robots also benefit from the compact size and robustness of the all-metal design.

A 6 V DC power source is required for operation. Power switches or relays used to control multiple motors must be rated for the motor's current draw. With common microcontroller boards, the motor can be operated as a switch through transistors or motor driver modules.
