Product Description
This sensor set includes 15 different modules for measuring environmental parameters and incorporating them into control processes. The selection ranges from classic measuring devices to specialized modules and covers both digital and analog interfaces.
The sensors connect to the microcontroller via the I2C bus or analog inputs. This allows multiple modules to be operated simultaneously using just a few connection wires, which is particularly useful with boards that have a limited number of pins and leaves room for additional functions. Analog sensors, on the other hand, use the available ADC inputs and require individual calibration, as each measured value must be interpreted manually.
Typical projects use the set for weather stations that monitor temperature and humidity, or for security systems with motion detectors and distance sensors. Automatic plant monitoring that checks soil moisture and light intensity, as well as small robots with obstacle detection, are also realistic applications.
A compatible development board is required for operation. Depending on the sensor type, the individual modules require a power supply of 3.3 or 5 volts, so the board's power source should have sufficient capacity. Connection cables between the board and sensors must be purchased separately.
