Product Description

An extruder nozzle with a 0.3 mm opening significantly refines print output for 2.85 mm filament compared with standard nozzles. The small diameter reduces the extrusion width and enables finer structures, but requires higher printing temperatures and closer process monitoring.

The copper core efficiently conducts heat from the heater block to the printing material, which is particularly critical with small nozzle openings. The thread fits standard hot ends with a metric connection; before installation, the diameter and thread length must be checked against the existing printer.

Applications include high-resolution miniature parts, detailed models with thin walls, and gears in the millimeter range. This nozzle is also suitable for prints with fine surface structures or lettering with line widths below 1 mm.

The 0.3 mm format requires consistently high-quality filament; any fibers or contamination in the material can compromise the flow rate. The print head must be replaced when standard nozzles (0.4 mm or larger) are to be used again.

Safety Notice

The nozzle operates at printing temperatures between 200 and 250 degrees Celsius; avoid contact with the hot end. Use gloves or tools to replace the hot nozzle. Allow it to cool for at least five minutes after printing before removing the nozzle.
