Product description

A digital thermostat controls heating or cooling devices by switching a relay output when the set temperature limits are reached. The device measures the room temperature using an integrated sensor, displays the current value on the display, and continuously compares it with the target temperature entered via the keypad.

Since the switching output can handle 10 A at 230 V, the thermostat is suitable for directly connecting typical heating mats, electric fan heaters, or air-conditioning units without additional contactors. The accuracy of ±1 °C across a measurement range of 0–40 °C enables precise temperature maintenance in indoor spaces, but is not sufficient for outdoor applications or extreme temperature environments.

Applications include temperature control in residential or office spaces, temperature stabilization in workshops or storage areas, control of greenhouse heating systems, and regulation of refrigerated display case climate control. The thermostat can also be used in development laboratories for temperature monitoring in test setups.

The device is connected to 230 V AC and requires no additional power supply. The sensor cable can be installed up to a usual length of approximately 5 m, allowing the sensor to be mounted separately from the control unit. The thermostat is not suitable for outdoor temperature measurement or environments below 0 °C or above 40 °C.
