xTool OR1 rotary module for the O1 Omni Printer

With the xTool OR1, you can print directly onto round and curved objects: mugs, drinking cups, beverage cans, candle jars, spherical pendants, and more. The module secures the workpiece in a jaw chuck and rotates it 360 degrees under angle control. This creates seamless all-around prints without having to manually measure the circumference.

The Pixel-Scan Vision system with CIS imaging captures the object's shape and surface, detects handles, and automatically levels the workpiece. You position your design in the 1:1 preview and start printing. The OR1 was developed exclusively for the xTool O1 Omni Printer.

How it works

• Place the OR1 on the printer base; the magnetic connection secures the module
• Secure the workpiece in the chuck; the jaws support the inner wall
• Remove dust and grease from the surface with the cleaning cloth; for glass, ceramics, or stainless steel, also apply primer
• Scan the object: Pixel Scan captures its shape, handle, and height
• Place the design in the 3D preview and start all-around printing

Suitable:

• Cylindrical cups and conical vessels

• Selected irregularly shaped drinking vessels

Not recommended:

• Objects that cannot be securely fixed or rotated without wobbling
• Rolling pins and solid candles
• Cups with multiple handles
• Objects whose rim, base, or connecting structure is higher than the printing area

Notes

• UV ink must not come into direct contact with lips, beverages, or food. Print exclusively on exterior surfaces without food contact, not on rims or inner walls
• Clean oily or greasy surfaces before printing so that the ink adheres reliably. A cleaning cloth is included
• For glass and ceramics, apply primer to the printing area after drying; for stainless steel, use a special primer cloth. Avoid direct skin contact with the primer
• The OR1 is compatible only with the xTool O1 Omni Printer and not with other xTool devices
