Product description

This extension cable connects XT60 connectors and improves access to batteries and charger modules. The 15 cm length creates space between the power source and the consumer without adding too much weight or taking up too much space. The XT60 standard is widely used in model making, multicopter electronics, and portable power supplies.

The reverse-polarity-protected connectors prevent incorrect connections that could cause damage. The cable supports up to 60 A, making it suitable for high-current applications such as brushless motors or multiple consumers operated in parallel. The copper core with a plastic sheath combines flexibility with durability.

Possible applications are varied: positioning the battery and controller farther apart in a quadcopter; making the charging socket on RC models easier to reach; combining multiple power sources via distribution boards; and powering test and development setups with a standardized connector. The cable also relieves strain on long connection paths when batteries are stored externally or on a stand.

Only a matching connector on the consumer or power source is required for use. The cable does not replace defective connectors and must not be stored uninsulated when both connection ends are unused, as there is a risk of short circuits.

Short-term short circuits can discharge and overheat the battery. The cable is intended exclusively for building prototypes and for testing and development purposes. Work on or near electrical installations is reserved for qualified electricians.
