Product description
The XT60 connector in the C version is used to connect high-current circuits in RC models, multirotors, and portable energy storage systems. The form-fitting plug-in system locks mechanically when plugged in, eliminating loose connections and ensuring a reliable connection even under vibration.
The male contact carries up to 30 A continuously, while the gold plating keeps the contact resistance below 1 mΩ, minimizing heat losses. The C version differs from classic XT60 versions in its connection geometry and space requirements, which is relevant when installation space is limited.
Examples of use include connecting battery packs to chargers in drones and FPV racing quadcopters, powering high-load DC motors in mobile robots, or connecting multiple lithium-polymer batteries in parallel. In stationary test setups, the secure plug-in system enables quick configuration changes without additional tools.
A suitable mating connector that accepts the C version is required for operation. When connecting multiple batteries in parallel using several XT60 connections, all connections must have identical resistance to ensure charge balancing and even current distribution.
