Product description
This radio relay is a receiver module for wireless motor control with integrated polarity reversal. Two relay outputs allow the direction of rotation of a DC motor to be switched remotely, without having to install wiring for the control signal. The module operates in the 433 MHz ISM band and achieves ranges of up to 100 m in open areas.
The two relays switch independently, enabling control of a motor bridge circuit. The motor current flows directly through the relay contacts, which are rated for 3 A per output. This allows small to medium-sized DC motors, lifting magnets, or electric cylinders to be switched. The 12 V operating voltage is supplied externally via a screw terminal.
Typical applications include remote control of model vehicles, wireless control of machine tools on the workbench, cabinet door automation in soundproof enclosures, or operation of lifting-cylinder valves from the control station. The module also enables an emergency stop via a radio-controlled decoupling mechanism, provided that safety requirements permit this.
A radio-controlled remote control with a compatible transmitter on the same frequency is required. A separate 12 V DC power source capable of supplying the required motor current is needed to power the motor. The switching voltages and currents must not exceed the relay specifications; otherwise, the service life will be significantly reduced.
Safety information
Motor voltages above 12 V or currents above 3 A per output must not be switched. This module is not intended for installation in household mains circuits and is intended exclusively for building prototypes and for testing and development purposes. Work on or near electrical installations must be carried out by qualified electricians; if you are unsure about the power supply or motor wiring, consult a qualified electrician before commissioning.
