Product description

A wireless charging module enables smartphones, smartwatches, and similar devices to be charged wirelessly without plugs or cables. The system uses electromagnetic induction to transfer energy without contact from a transmitter coil to a receiver coil. Foreign object detection ensures that the module detects metal objects on the charging surface and stops the power transfer before damage occurs.

With an output power of up to 15 W, the module charges modern smartphones in a reasonable amount of time. The integrated temperature monitoring protects the battery and charging electronics from overheating during the charging process. The operating voltage of 5 V allows power to be supplied via standard USB power adapters or power banks, although a power adapter with sufficient current capacity is required.

The module is suitable for developing custom charging stations for desktop use or for fixtures in which several devices are to be charged simultaneously. With suitable enclosure integration, it can be used to create a production-ready charging solution. In addition to the module, a 5-V USB power adapter is required for assembly unless power is supplied by an existing power source.
