Product Description

These two test probes serve as replacements or additions to measuring leads and test leads. They connect a measuring instrument to the components or circuits being measured. The banana plugs fit all common sockets on multimeters and other measuring instruments.

Each probe is mounted on an insulated handle and ends in a fine, hard abrasive tip. These tips enable measurements at tiny contact points or on narrow traces. The different colors of the two cables make it easier to identify the correct measuring lead.

The probes enable measurements in electronic circuits, testing of batteries and power sources, functional testing of switches and relay contacts, as well as troubleshooting electrical installations for the presence of voltage and continuity. Cleaning the tips removes dirt or oxidation and restores secure contact.

Compatible with all measuring instruments featuring standard banana sockets. For safe measurements in circuits with up to several hundred volts, the measuring instruments used must be suitably rated and the test probes must be fully insulated. Before use, check the insulation material and contacts for damage.

Defective or damaged insulation on the handle or cable must not be used. Voltage tests in circuits may only be carried out with a measuring instrument rated for the relevant voltage level.
