Product Description

This test lead connects multimeters, power supplies, or other measuring instruments to test points on circuits and prototypes. The telescopic hook at the end enables secure electrical contacts on solder joints, pin headers, and sockets with a 4 mm diameter, while the banana plug on the other side fits into the standard connection sockets of measuring instruments.

The double insulation protects against accidental body contact with live parts when working on low- and medium-voltage circuits. The 1 m long lead provides sufficient freedom of movement during measurements without being so long that it becomes difficult to control.

The lead is suitable for regular voltage checks during the development of microcontroller projects, quick current measurements on prototype power supplies, and checking plated-through holes on prototyping boards. It also enables reliable measurements without damaging assemblies when servicing existing circuits.

Safety and protective cables with CE marking and measurement category III for voltages up to approximately 600 V are not suitable for connection to household power circuits. The wear resistance of the telescopic hooks after frequent use and complete contact when placing them on the test points must be taken into account.
