Product Description
This adapter bridges the incompatibility between two widely used battery connector systems in model building and electric mobility. A T-Plug connector attached on one side connects to an XT60 socket on the other, allowing batteries with a T-Plug connection to be connected to devices with an XT60 receptacle, or vice versa by using additional adapters.
The cable allows existing batteries to be used without having to fit them with new connectors. The method of contacting in both connector systems remains unchanged; there is no level adjustment or voltage conversion. The cable with its soldered or crimped connectors saves time when integrating batteries and carrying out modifications.
The adapter is used when operating quadcopters and drones with batteries equipped with different connectors, in RC electric vehicles when switching between different battery stocks, and for the flexible power supply of portable tools and model building components. A common situation is the gradual development of heterogeneous model fleets in which older T-Plug batteries are still intended to power new XT60 electric models.
The cable is used without an additional power supply or power adapter. The maximum current-carrying capacity depends on the design of the connector system and the wire gauges used; these specifications are subject to the manufacturer's data. Reversing the polarity causes a short circuit and damage; check the polarity before connecting.
Safety Information
Reversing the polarity of this adapter causes a direct short circuit and may result in fires, explosions, or destruction of connected devices. Carefully check the connections and polarity. The cable is intended exclusively for building prototypes and for testing and development purposes and must not be connected to the household electrical circuit. Work on or near electrical installations must be carried out by qualified electricians; if in doubt, consult a qualified electrician.
