Product description
This is a soldering exercise in amplifier form. A two-channel audio amplifier with an output power of 3 watts per channel is created by manually soldering all components onto the perfboard. Beginners can practise soldering techniques on real electronic components while creating a functional device.
The amplifier accepts audio signals via stereo inputs and amplifies them using amplifier ICs or discrete transistor stages to an output power of 3 watts per channel. This is sufficient to drive standard small speakers with a 4-ohm impedance. The perfboard construction makes the operating principle visible and easy to understand.
Possible applications include a shelf stereo system, an amplifier for portable audio projects, or a desktop speaker system. It can also be used flexibly for experiments involving speaker replacement or variable amplification.
Operation requires an external 5-volt power supply with an appropriate current capacity for two channels at 3 watts each. The speakers must have an impedance of 4 ohms. The assembly itself is a training project providing practical electronics knowledge and soldering experience.
Safety information
The device is not intended for installation in the household power circuit and is intended exclusively for testing and development purposes. When soldering components, follow the safety regulations for handling soldering equipment; if you have questions about proper assembly, consult a qualified electrician before commissioning. After soldering, all connections must be checked to prevent short circuits.
