Product Description

The soldering tip cleaner consists of fine spiral wool and cleans the soldering tip between soldering operations, removing oxide layers and flux residue. Dry cleaning requires neither water nor chemicals and enables fast, repeated cleaning at the workstation.

The spiral wool structure provides sufficient abrasiveness to remove contamination without damaging the soldering tip. The material retains its cleaning power over many uses and can be easily pressed through the wool. Regular cleaning increases heat transfer and significantly improves solder wetting on the tip.

The cleaner is suitable for all types of hand soldering stations and portable soldering irons with common tip diameters. In everyday projects, it can make a contaminated tip ready for use within a few seconds, without disconnecting the iron from the power supply. The material is durable enough for daily use in the workshop or laboratory.

The spiral wool can be replaced when the material loses cleaning power after extended use. Compatible with common soldering tip shapes; check beforehand when using very thin or unusually shaped tips.
