Product Description
This soldering kit teaches the basics of electronics while creating a functional line-following vehicle. The vehicle detects a black track using two photoresistors on its underside and automatically steers back when it deviates from the course. Assembly provides practical training in soldering, sensor technology, and motor control in one project.
Two photoresistors measure the light reflected by the track. The LM393 comparator continuously compares both sensors and controls the drive transistors so that the vehicle stays on the line. When it detects that one side has moved over the black line, it slows the motor on that side while the other motor runs faster. This allows the vehicle to automatically correct its course.
Assembly is completed step by step: resistors, the IC socket, switch, potentiometer, transistors, electrolytic capacitors, and LEDs are soldered according to the markings on the circuit board. The battery wires are then connected to the marked solder points, followed by the mechanical assembly of the motors, wheels, and chassis. The finished vehicle is suitable for educational projects in electronics and sensor technology as well as school competition projects.
Safety Information
Soldering involves high temperatures and solder fumes; good ventilation is required, and protective equipment is recommended. The device is intended exclusively for educational purposes, prototype construction, and soldering practice, not for installation in household power circuits or continuous operation in uncontrolled environments. Work on or near an electrical installation is reserved for qualified electricians; if you are unsure about the power supply, consult a qualified electrician before use.
