Product description
This shaft coupling connects two shaft ends and transfers the motor's rotational movement to lead screws, threaded rods, or other axes, for example in 3D printers. The cylindrical aluminum body, with an outer diameter of approximately 19 mm, features ring-shaped cuts in the center that create a flexible section.
This flexible center section compensates for angular, axial, or parallel misalignment between the two shafts without breaking. Each end has a bore for the shaft and two hex socket grub screws that clamp the inserted shaft securely. This ensures that both shafts rotate synchronously.
The bores may have different diameters depending on the version, allowing connections between shafts of different sizes. This means the coupling can be used flexibly with different combinations of motor and driven shaft. As a purely mechanical component, it does not transmit electrical signals.
Two shaft ends with matching diameters are required, depending on the selected version. No splined or flat-key preparation on the shaft ends is necessary; the coupling operates solely through the clamping force of the grub screws.
