Product description
Rosin-core solder wire permanently connects electronic components. The tinned copper wire with a diameter of 0.8 mm is suitable for standard soldering work on circuit boards, such as building prototypes or repairing electronic circuits. The lead-free design meets current environmental standards.
The rosin in the flux core cleans the surfaces being soldered during soldering and thereby improves wetting by the molten metal. This creates secure, reliable solder joints without additional flux. The 50 m spool is sufficient for hundreds of typical solder joints.
The plastic spool enables safe handling and storage without deforming the wire. A soldering iron with sufficient power is required for operation, usually 30 to 40 watts. The wire diameter is suitable for standard soldering iron tips.
Safety information
Soldering produces flux fumes, so ensure adequate ventilation. Use this solder wire only for building prototypes and for testing and development purposes, not for work on the home's electrical installation. If you have questions about proper handling, consult a qualified electrician.
