Product description
This RFID system provides standalone access control. It reads 125-kHz transponders and decides on site whether the detected ID is authorized to open the door. The device operates without an external control board and stores up to 2000 user IDs in its integrated memory. New IDs can be programmed directly on the reader or imported.
The reader detects the transponder identity contactlessly from a distance of a few centimeters. Detected and authorized IDs immediately activate the output relay, which switches the connected door opener or magnetic lock. At the same time, four separate sensor inputs can be monitored, for example motion detectors, door contacts, or alarm systems, and incorporated into the switching logic.
Applications range from secured offices and storage areas to workshops, garages, and garden sheds. In a medical practice, for example, the system could allow authorized personnel to access the medicine cabinet and store an access log without requiring a central system to evaluate these accesses. The robust metal construction withstands moisture and dirt even in industrial and outdoor areas.
Operation requires a regulated 12 V power supply with a capacity of at least 2 A. Programming additional users requires either physical access to the device or a prepared text file containing IDs, depending on the configured import mode.

This system is intended exclusively for building prototypes and for testing and development purposes and is not suitable for installation in the household power circuit. Work on or near electrical installations must be carried out by qualified electricians; if anything is unclear, consult a qualified electrician before commissioning. Observe the correct polarity of the 12 V power supply to prevent damage to the device.
