Product Description
The push fitting connects two 8.5 mm filaments in a pressure-tight manner without screw connections or compression fittings. It is simply pushed on and then held securely in the line by the retention fitting and internal retaining spring. This eliminates the need for tools during assembly and disassembly.
The connection withstands pressures of up to 10 bar, which is sufficient for compressed-air systems and low-pressure pneumatics. The EPDM seal used tolerates temperatures from –20 to +60 °C. The M16*2 thread on the connection side is screwed directly into a corresponding thread on the distributor or manifold; the shaft connections with an inner diameter of 5.32 mm accommodate the filament strands.
Areas of application include pneumatic multi-line systems, such as in automation technology for connecting multiple compressed-air lines to central distribution blocks, as well as spraying systems and pressure-vacuum applications where two channels are used in parallel. Wear-related replacement is also simplified, as the filaments can be inserted and removed quickly.
The fitting requires a distributor with a matching M16-x-2 thread. For pressure applications above 10 bar or temperatures outside the permitted range, a different fitting is required.
Safety Notice
Pressure fittings are exposed to high loads when operated above the rated pressure; faulty connections and overpressure can cause uncontrolled pressure equalization and injuries. Before operation, check that all connections are secure and that the operating pressure does not exceed 10 bar. Work on pressure systems must be carried out by qualified electrical personnel or qualified pneumatic technicians; if in doubt, consult a qualified electrician before commissioning.
