Product description

These spring-loaded contacts with pogo pins serve as quick connectors for prototypes and testing. Instead of soldered connections or screw terminals, the three contacts are simply pressed against flat connection pads, while the internal springs establish a reliable flow of current. The 2.54 mm pitch enables direct connection to standard boards without an adapter.

The gold-plated contact surface reduces corrosion and ensures stable connections even after repeated insertion and retraction. The ceramic housing keeps the pins precisely spaced, prevents sideways bending, and enables precise positioning perpendicular to the pad surface. The wear resistance is several hundred contact cycles before replacement is required.

Typical applications include testing firmware versions on different boards without a fixed cable setup, checking series prototypes for functionality, and making temporary connections to measuring instruments. During project development, this type of connection saves time when frequently switching between test setups.

No additional accessories are required for operation, provided that contact pads are present on the board being tested and offer a sufficiently flat surface for pressing. When used with precision test probes, the pads should have a surface roughness below 1.6 µm to prevent the contacts from wearing out too quickly.
