Product description
This white PETG filament is a plastic for 3D printing that combines strength with easy processing. PETG combines the properties of PET plastics with improved printability. The 1000-gram spool fits all standard 3D printers with a 1.75-mm filament feed.
The material requires a printing temperature between 230 and 250 °C. Preheating the bed to around 80 °C helps reduce stress in the hardened print and prevent warping. Compared with PLA prints, this produces more precise parts with less deformation, especially for objects with thicker walls.
Typical applications include functional prototypes, replacement parts for household and hobby use, as well as brackets and containers that can tolerate some flexibility. PETG is also suitable for objects that must withstand mechanical stress, as it is tougher than brittle printing materials. It is a practical choice for applications requiring chemical resistance.
A 3D printer with an extruder and heated bed is required. The printing speed should be moderate, as feeding too quickly can lead to under-extrusion. Storing the filament in a cool, dry place prevents moisture absorption, which can reduce print quality.
Safety information
This material is intended exclusively for private 3D printing and prototyping. Caution is required when operating 3D printers with heating elements; if you are unsure about temperature control or the power supply, consult a qualified electrician before commissioning the device. Printing processes require supervision, as malfunctions can rarely lead to overheating.
