Product description

The passive speaker connects to audio amplifiers or sound modules via a 3-pin XH2-54 connector and requires no additional power supply. The audio source must provide an amplified signal; the speaker does not work directly with audio outputs from microcontrollers or computers.

The bass reflex enclosure extends the frequency range in the lower register and achieves a sound pressure level of 85 dB, which is sufficient for notifications, signal tones, and warnings in prototypes and test setups. The 8-ohm impedance is compatible with many common amplifier ICs and audio modules; the dimensions fit into compact device enclosures.

Typical applications include acoustic feedback in robotics projects, signal generation in sensor applications, alarm output in monitoring systems, and audio playback in game prototypes. The speaker can also be used for simple voice output, provided the audio source handles the processing.

Operation requires an audio amplifier with a compatible XH2-54 connector; direct control via digital outputs or audio jacks is not possible.
