Product description

This solenoid valve controls pneumatic applications through electromagnetic switching. When de-energized, the passage remains open; this is the default position. Only when 12 V DC is applied does the solenoid attract the movable plunger and switch the valve to the closed or diverting position, depending on the type. Switching operations take less than 100 milliseconds.

A 12 V power supply capable of delivering the required current is required for operation. The valve openings accept standard pneumatic hoses. The valve itself is screwed in rather than plugged in; securely fitted connections are important to prevent pressure losses.

It is used wherever air flows need to be switched or interrupted quickly. In automated production systems, the valve controls pneumatic actuators or lifting cylinders. Dosing systems use it for targeted pneumatic pulses. It is also useful in prototype applications, such as remote-controlled pneumatic models, where the short switching time saves valuable time during repeated cycles.

The operating pressure must not exceed 10 bar. A separate 12 V power supply with sufficient output must be provided. Without switching logic or a timer, the valve remains continuously open in its default state; control is handled by the higher-level system.

Safety notice

This valve is not intended for distributing drinking water, process media, or flammable gases and may only be used in pneumatic test applications and development projects.
